Broadway Drama Society

The Broadway Drama Society, an official IU Northwest student organization, takes pride in offering opportunities for all students to expand their skills, talents and love of the performing arts!  Dedicated to every aspect of theatre including acting, dancing, singing, designing and directing, the BDS is a wonderful group of students that share passion for theatre and the desire to engage audiences.  The club sponsors shows, field trips, and special events as well as meet-and-greets with the top professionals in the field.  All club activities are open to all students regardless of major or prior experience.

This year, the BDS will be producing its second Musical Review – a collection of scenes and songs entitled "Love and Loss."  For more information contact students Ashley Thompson (ashnthom@iun.edu) and Thomas Plummer (plummert@iun.edu).

Annual Production for Young Audiences

At Indiana University Northwest, we've been creating magical moments between our student-performers and children from around the Northwest Indiana Region annually for over 30 years. Our productions span a wide variety of styles and genres, from traditional fairy tales to adaptations of popular literature.  Most feature a young central character, allowing the children in the audience to identify and learn along with the story's hero. And each utilizes the magic of live theatre to address real-life issues such as family relationships, diversity, self-confidence and creativity.
