IU Northwest Transfer Student Information Session set for May 21

Future students can learn about transfer process, career services, scholarships and more

Indiana University Northwest will host an information session for transfer students from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, May 21, in Hawthorn Hall, room 107.

The Transfer Information Session is a great time to see if IU Northwest is the right fit. Attendees will learn more about:

-       The seamless transfer process

-       Career services

-       Transfer scholarships

-       FAFSA process when transferring

-       Academic advising and transfer credits

The session will conclude with a campus tour.

IU Northwest offers transfer students the opportunity to finish a bachelor’s degree on-campus or online depending on the program. There are more than 100 online courses to choose from. Students who have completed at least 12 semester hours of college course work are eligible to apply as a transfer student. Those who wish to transfer to IU Northwest and have completed less than 12 semester hours should complete the freshman application.

IU Northwest offers a wide range of academic programs and disciplines for Northwest Indiana students wishing to earn their Indiana University degrees close to home. IU Northwest’s academic units include the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Health and Human Services, the School of Business and Economics, and the School of Education.
