IU Northwest to observe National College Signing Day with Selfie Campaign on April 26

Future RedHawks asked to show their pride as part of First Lady’s ‘Reach Higher Initiative’

Tuesday Apr 19, 2016

April 26 has been designated as National College Signing Day, a celebration initiated in 2014 with the launch of First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Reach Higher” Initiative, an effort to inspire all students to pursue postsecondary education.

In support of this initiative, Indiana University Northwest is celebrating all high school seniors on their college decisions this spring, and specifically, those who are enrolling at IU Northwest.

Future RedHawks are urged to wear their “I Accepted the Promise” T-shirt or best IU gear on April 26, take a selfie and tag Indiana University Northwest Admissions on Facebook using the following hashtags: #CollegeSigningDay and #PromiseAccepted.

A prize will be given to the best/most creative selfies. To be eligible, students must sign their intent to enroll with IU Northwest by May 1.

Watch the IU Northwest Facebook pages for the most creative displays of IU Northwest pride by our future students.
