Monday Oct 05, 2015

The Indiana University Northwest Alumni Association (IUNAA) and the Offices of Alumni Relations and Student Activities are proud to announce the campus’s Homecoming celebration on Saturday, Nov. 7.

Now in its seventh year, Homecoming is a tradition that welcomes alumni home to reconnect with professors, classmates and colleagues. The events are also open to current students providing them with an opportunity to become engaged in their campus, and for the greater community to join in the excitement that is IU Northwest.

One of the most anticipated events of Homecoming is the recognition of volunteers whose enduring commitment to the University serves to strengthen the campus and its students.

Now through Monday, Oct. 12, the IUNAA is accepting nominations for two awards it will bestow at its annual Alumni Recognition Breakfast, set for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 7 in the John W. Anderson Library Conference Center, room 105.

Volunteer Service Award

This award recognizes an individual, who through fundraising, recruiting, advocacy and faithful service, has brought honor and distinction to IU Northwest.

Student Spirit Award

This award recognizes a current student who, through exceptional service, leadership and school spirit, has brought honor and distinction to IU Northwest.

Nominations should be submitted via an online form, which can be found at

A committee will review the submissions and announce the awardees at the invitation-only breakfast, which serves as a kickoff to a full day of Homecoming festivities.
