DeNeen Attard (Thaxton), (B.A., Organizational Communication, 1993), has published a new book, titled “The Trinity of Coaching: God, You, and Your Life Coach.” The publication is a practical guide based on research supported techniques, practical advice and life application lessons designed to help individuals integrate their Christian faith with coaching sessions and daily activities. Topics include establishing values, neuroscience and the Bible, dreaming big, positive affirmations, the power of thoughts, forgiveness and handling conflict.

Channing Clark, (B.A., General Studies, 2014), was recently admitted to Indiana Wesleyan University’s MBA-Healthcare program for the Spring 2015 semester. Prior to graduate school, she worked as an interventionist at Gary Lighthouse Charter Upper Academy in Glen Park.

Catharine Dull (B.A., Organizational Communication, 1995) is the business development manager for Opportunity Enterprises in Valparaiso. Read more here.

Aaron Harris (B.S., Education, 2002; M.S., Education, 2004) is currently working as an assistant principal in Chandler, Ariz.

Cassia Martin (B.A., English, 2009), a recipient of the Allen Austin Award, recently submitted her dissertation for a doctorate at the University of Aberdeen.

Scott Scheeringa, (B.S., Computer Information Systems, 2014), has recently been hired as an IT analyst for Hyla Soft, an IT consulting firm in Chicago. A veteran of the U.S. Army where he served for six years, Scott served as a technician in the Instructional Media Services (IMS) department at IU Northwest.

Joseph Scida, (B.A., General Studies, 2014), has recently been promoted to administrative officer at the Veterans Affairs (VA) clinic in Crown Point, Ind.

Michael Trueblood (B.S., Criminal Justice, 2013) was recently named Officer of the Year by the Valparaiso Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 76.

Muriel Willborn-Sloan, (B.S., Public Affairs, 2008), is an academic advisor at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College in Buenva Vista, Va.
