In an effort to promote the spirit of Homecoming and encourage student organizations, staff and faculty to attend, a door decorating contest will take place the week of October 20. This is a great opportunity to use your creativity to make a design that best captures what makes IU Northwest “Your IU”.
A bag with basic decorations and materials will be provided to each organization to get you started. After that, you may use your own materials as long as it follows the guidelines given to you.

Voting will begin on: Monday & Tuesday, October 27 & 28, 2014 (Moraine Student Lounge)

Friday, October 31 - Alumni Breakfast
In the spirit of Homecoming, the Office of Alumni Relations and the IU Northwest Alumni Association will be hosting the first Inaugural Alumni Breakfast Service Award Ceremony on October 31 at 8 a.m. in the John W. Anderson Library Conference Center. Alumni and friends are invited to attend this breakfast in honor of the recipients who will receive the "Service Award". This award will recognize individuals who have demonstrated a philanthropic spirit and have given back to IU Northwest through their time, talent and treasure. In addition to this award, the Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Association will also recognize a current student who through exceptional service, leadership and school spirit has brought honor and distinction to IU Northwest. This Spirit Award will publicly acknowledge a student who has given significant amounts of time and talent to the university.

Saturday, November 1 - Homecoming Day Activities
Food will be served under a tent located on the west side of campus. If weather does not cooperate activities will be moved to Savannah.
- 11:30 a.m. - Check-in and children's activities
- Noon - Hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, chili, chips, beverages, cookies
- 12:30 p.m. - Caramel apples
- 1 p.m. - Women’s game-IU Northwest Red Hawks vs Saint Francis
- 2 p.m. - Alumni Lounge open (Alumni only)
- 2:30 pm - Gourmet popcorn
- 3 p.m. - Men’s game-IU Northwest vs Roosevelt University
General Admission Tickets are $15. Students with ID and children age 7 and under are FREE. Advance tickets include 2014 Homecoming T-shirt (while supplies last). Admission includes pre-game tailgate (food and beverage).
