Why I chose IU Northwest

Because it is so close to home and offers smaller class sizes. It’s only 45 minutes from home, which allows me to live at home with my family. I also like how intimate the campus is and how easy it is to maneuver around campus without the fear of getting lost. The smaller class sizes are great for me because they allow me to ask my professors questions and get one-on-one interaction and help.

Words of wisdom

My advice for future students is to get involved on campus. Before the previous spring semester, I was not involved in campus life and would just go to school and go straight home. Now that I am involved in Student Ambassadors, I have had a lot more fun and have made friends I know I will have for life. I now feel like I have a sense of belonging on campus.
