Academic Student Success Assistance offers tutoring in many disciplines, including math, reading and writing. Assessment Center assesses specific skills crucial for academic and professional success. Administration, Office of oversees activities central to the long-term operational success of the campus.
Affirmative Action and Employment Practices, Office of – oversees the campus Affirmative Action Plan and Faculty / Professional Staff recruiting process, Discrimination and Harassment complaints, and campus-wide compliance training for EEO / ADA / PSH (Equal Employment Opportunity / Americans with Disabilities Act / Preventing Sexual Harassment). Alumni Relations provides opportunities to actively engage all alumni in the success of the university. Career Services helps students and alumni plan for successful careers and secure meaningful employment. Services include interest testing, advising and counseling, a career resource library, on-campus recruiting, job fairs and career days, internship program, work study services, and a job listing file Chancellor provides leadership for matters that affect academic programs, research, and outreach involving faculty, students, and staff. Clinics under the direction of the College of Health and Human Services and offering services and programs contributing to the health of the campus community. Credit Union provides services for IU Northwest faculty, staff and students. Membership in the Indiana University Credit Union, located in the Moraine Student Center, is open to all. Dental Clinic Dental hygiene and dental assisting students and faculty provide quality preventative dental care to patients from the campus and community. Development, Office of provides fund-raising for the university and establishes productive relationships between IU Northwest and the region. Diversity Programming, Office of campus and community resource for diversity and equity issues. Enrollment Services assists prospective students to become a part of the IU Northwest community, and assists current students to remain part of the community and to successfully complete their programs of study.
Environmental Health and Safety Facilities Planning provides leadership and support for campus facilities planning, conducts facilities usage audits and maintains campus space inventory. Fiscal Affairs, Office of helps direct campus financial operations, develops and monitors campus budgets. Health and Wellness Center Nurse practitioners offer acute care for illness or injury, preventative care, vaccinations, referrals, and other services to faculty, staff, and students. Human Resources manages employee recruitment and hiring activities, personnel policies, training and development, university benefits, and payroll.
Institutional Effectiveness and Research, Office of responsible for collecting, analyzing and distributing data and information related to the operations of Indiana University Northwest. Marketing and Communications, Office of - offers marketing and communications support for the university, develops publications and oversees all advertising activities and promotions. News and Information - offers media relations on current news and events, provides faculty experts and houses all news archives for the university. Occupational Developmental Program Placement Testing and Assessment student academic placement tests needed before registering for classes. Special Events, Office of provides event planning and logistics for campus departments and arranges facility rentals for off-campus groups. Special Retention Programs includes Supplemental Instruction, the Reach Program, and peer-mentoring. Student Code ("IU Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct")—contains descriptions of students' rights, responsibilities, and misconduct behaviors.
