It is important to be sure your Primary E-mail Account is set to @iun.edu. The user should check this setting to be sure that it is correct. If it is not set properly, the user will find their e-mail incorrect a IU Northwest's Find People listing.
- Open your web browser, such as Internet Explorer.
- Go to the OneStart home page at: http://onestart.iu.edu
- Directly below the large "login" button on the left side of the screen, under "Don't have an account," click on the "Activate or Manage your IU account" link. The Account management Service application will open.
- Click the circle in front of "Faculty and Staff" in the top section.
- Click the circle in front of "Create more IU computing accounts, set e-mail forwarding, and manage my existing acounts and passphrases."
- Click the "Continue" button towards the bottom of the screen. The Login screen will appear.
- Login using your email username and passphrase. The Account Managment sceen appears.
- On the left, under "Select a Service," click "forward your email." The Manage your Email screen appears.

- Under "Set your primary e-mail address:", open the drop-down list next to "Set primary e-mail address to:". Click on the e-mail address that ends with "@iun.edu"
- Change it if you need to and hit the forward your e-mail button
so your changes will register or take effect.
- Close the browser.
This change will take effect in 1 to 2 business days. Afterwards, your e-mail address will appear in the correct format (username@iun.edu instead of username@indiana.edu) in the Find People function and elsewhere.
