"What are these workshops?"

These award-winning hands-on, instructor-led computing workshops were written by the Information Technology Training & Education personnel of the University Information Technology Services Department of Indiana University in Bloomington and Indianapolis. Only slight modifications have been made to adapt them for the Northwest campus. Attendees receive a highly detailed handout that provides step-by-step instructions for everything covered in class.

"I can't come at these times. What else can I do?"

Purchase Workshop Handouts for Self-Study:

Handouts combine conceptual explanations with step-by-step instructions for everything covered in a workshop. Those who are unable to attend or who simply prefer self-study, may purchase single copies of workshop handouts. Fees vary according to your status:

  • IUN currently registered students, faculty and staff may purchase single copies of a workshop handout for self-study for $5 each.
  • Members of the northwest Indiana general public may purchase copies for $35 each.
  • IUN alumni (grads) and nonprofit organizations may purchase copies for $25 each.
  • All class handouts are copyrighted by the Trustees of Indiana University and may not otherwise be copied or distributed. Individuals or organizations interested in purchasing larger quantities or to teach others should contact Indiana University, IT Training & Education, 2711 East 10th Street, Bloomington, IN 47408-2671 or call (812) 855-7383.
