Whereas, in January, 1996, the Faculty Organization of Indiana University Northwest passed a resolution calling for consultation between the Administration at Indiana University Northwest and the Budgetary Affairs Committee concerning the budget of the Social Work program, and
Whereas, the intent of the resolution was to request ongoing consultation, when and if changes in the budget of the social work program occur that have implications for other programs, and
Whereas, it appears, in the SDC application, that the budget for the Social Work program has undergone a significant increase, with the indication that this increase will require reallocation of funds from existing programs,
Therefore, be it resolved by the Faculty Organization of Indiana University Northwest, that the Administration at Indiana University Northwest honor its commitment to consult with the Budgetary Affairs Committee concerning the budgetary implications of the changes in the budget of the Social Work program.
