A ballot was recently sent out. The new group will assume responsibilities in 2000.
Consitutition Ratification Vote
There was some discussion on what it will take to ratify. Ratification takes 2/3 majority vote of those qualified to vote.
Grants and Research Development Committee
A letter was received from Professor Vinodgopal discussing his concerns about the small number of persons applying for summer fellowships. The recommendation was made that letter be sent back to the committee asking them to make specific recommnedations that can be made to Faculty Organization.
ICHE
The Chair was seeking suggestions of persons whom he might contact to attend ICHE meeting on November 16.
December Faculty Organization Meeting
A decision was made to wait until December to see if there is a need to have a FacultyOrganization meeting on December 17, 1999.
