Parking Appeals. The Executive Committee agreed that parking appeals should not be a function of a Faculty Organization Committee and communicated this opinion to VC Vasquez.
Minutes. The Executive Committee agreed that placing their minutes and those of the Faculty Organization onto the campus web server was a good idea. The minutes should contain links to relevant committees and do not need to be password protected. The Secretary has already converted some minutes into HTML format and will work with the campus webmaster to further develop a prototype.
Search Committee. Bloomington is seeking nominations for a search committee for the Associate V.P. for Distance Education. Motion: to nominate Don Coffin to the committee. Seconded. The motion was passed.
Correspondence.
A. The Committee discussed correspondence from VC Kroepfl regarding peer group institutions and made suggestions to VC Vasquez.
B. Sexual Harassment Policy. The issue was discussed, suggestions forwarded. Any faculty member wishing to comment on the proposed policy should contact Linda Rooda or Lew Ciminillo.
