Eating healthy can be tasty too! The IU Northwest Wellness Team intends to prove it on Thursday, March 22 by treating faculty, staff and students to a salad bar from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Moraine Student Center. The Wellness Team will be dishing out an impressive salad bar, complete with lettuce, cucumbers, Craisons and sunflower seeds with a choice of raspberry vinaigrette or Italian dressing along with rolls, granola bars and a fresh fruit bowl. Diners must show an IU Northwest ID card to be served and the Wellness Team is asking for a $1 donation. The lunch is one initiative the Wellness Team is using to promote healthy eating and encourage individuals to incorporate these foods into their daily lives.
