Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center (NWI SBDC), in partnership with Indiana University Northwest, is offering a no-cost business feasibility workshop at the IU Northwest campus from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 27 in the Savannah Center, room 205/206. The workshop will highlight the initial steps entrepreneurs should consider before launching a business by examining the opportunities, responsibilities and challenges involved in business ownership. Participants will also receive a workbook. Serving seven counties in the region, the NWI SBDC offers no-cost assistance for entrepreneurs starting or expanding their businesses. Through one-on-one consulting, the NWI SBDC helps guide small businesses toward their goals by offering referrals, workshops, training opportunities and other essential business tools. It is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Small Business Administration, the state of Indiana and other local partners. Registration is requested for the no-cost seminar.
