Indiana University Northwest will host Spring Preview Night on Thursday, March 29, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Savannah Center, located at 33rd Ave. and Broadway in Gary. High school students, adult learners and other students of all ages and interests are invited to speak with faculty members, learn about campus groups and programs, tour the campus, and attend a financial aid presentation. Following a brief presentation, the Spring Preview event will feature an academic and student services fair in the Savannah Gym from 6:15 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. with campus tours beginning at 6:25 p.m. IU Northwest offers a wide range of academic programs and disciplines for Northwest Indiana students wishing to earn their Indiana University degrees close to home. IU Northwest’s academic units include the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Health and Human Services, the School of Business and Economics, the School of Education, the Division of Continuing Studies, the Division of Labor Studies, and Pre-Professional Programs in health and law. Classes at IU Northwest are taught by committed and knowledgeable faculty members with academic and professional expertise in their fields, and small class sizes ensure that students receive valuable personalized attention from instructors.
