The Indiana University Northwest Office of Student Life and Athletics and the Office of Multicultural Affairs will host “Taste of Latino,” an afternoon to celebrate and experience the food, music and dance of Latin American culture. The event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 20 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Savannah Center. The free event will feature a sampling of delicious and ethnic treats, as well as a mix of Bachata, Salsa, and Reggaeton music. Learn how to dance the Bachata, a dance which originated in the Dominican Republic and is now popular in Latin America and select regions of Europe and the United States.
