IU Alumni Day at U.S. Steel Yard set for August 5

Students, faculty, staff and alumni invited to cheer on the RailCats

Fans of Indiana University and the Gary SouthShore RailCats are invited to join the Indiana University Northwest Alumni Association at U.S. Steel Yard on Friday, Aug. 5. The home team will take on the Kansas City T-Bones at 7:10 p.m. Pre-game festivities begin at 6 p.m.

Showing his school spirit on IU Alumni Day, IU Northwest Chancellor William Lowe will throw out the first pitch. Stick around following the game to enjoy a post-game fireworks show. Don’t forget to wear your IU spirit wear.

A limit of two tickets per alumni are available to IU Alumni Association members for $10 each, which includes all-you-can-eat hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, cookies and soda. Hurry, as this offer is limited to the first 50 alumni to respond. For non-members, tickets are $30. Those who have let their membership lapse can still get the discounted rate and additional perks throughout the year with your renewed membership of $50 per year.
