The Indiana University Northwest College of Health and Human Services invites the campus community to enjoy some refreshments in honor of The Campus Health and Wellness Center’s (CHWC) first anniversary. An open house is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday, April 19. The Health and Wellness Center, which opened in March of 2009, is located on the north end of the Dunes Medical/Professional Building (1027). Made possible through a collaborative effort between the College of Health and Human Services and Methodist Hospitals, Inc., the Campus Health and Wellness Center is an organization of professionals committed to improving the health and well-being of the IU Northwest campus community. Its qualified health care providers are equipped to perform lab testing, write prescriptions, administer immunizations and provide health and athletic physicals. The clinic’s hours are Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Thursday from 1 to 7 p.m.
