The first National Society for Leadership & Success event sponsored by the IU Northwest chapter will take place via a live satellite feed on Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. in the Library Conference Center (Room 105ABC). The presentation, entitled ‘Becoming the Highest Version of Yourself,’ will include a presentation by Bertice Berry, Ph.D., best-selling author and award-winning speaker. Berry combines her skills as a sociologist and researcher with her love of laughter to help engage and move audiences to action. Her strongly held philosophy is that fulfillment comes from multiple pursuits. Berry’s presentation will address several topics, including illuminating a path for others to live and learn, evolving a version of oneself that transcends competition, and finding the unique journey that will lead one to accomplish their purpose. In addition to writing four published books, Berry engages in significant community activism. She has graciously donated all of the royalties from the sales of her books to organizations that help families in transition, raise funds for scholarships, and provide resource information to low-income families. The IU Northwest NSLS chapter urges attendees to RSVP. To reserve your seat, please contact Tameka White at (219) 980-6755 or tamwhite@iun.edu.
