The Office of Marketing and Communications provides web design and consulting services in cooperation with our Web Services department. IU Northwest Website Redesign

IU Northwest's new website was launched in September 2003. The Office of Marketing and Communications in coordination with the Office of Communications and Marketing in Bloomington started a redesign process in the fall 2001.

This process included the formation of a committee consisting of key internal and external stakeholders, along with representatives of the Office of Communications and Marketing in Bloomington. After these stakeholder interviews were conducted, it was determined that the IU Northwest webite an updated design.

Focus groups were then conducted with current students, prospective students, alumni, community and campus members to get some feedback on the content and navigability of the website. The results of these focus groups served as a driver for creating the existing content and design now reflected in the website. It was also agreed upon by the key stakeholders, that all departments should have a similar look and feel so that all IU Northwest webpages look as if they are all entites within the same campus.
