February 2001 Web News ABI/Inform Returns as a Full-Text Journal IndexThe IU Northwest Library recently subscribed to ABI/Inform Global, the online version of the very popular business journal index. This web resource provides in-depth coverage of business trends, conditions, corporate strategies, management techniques and specific company and product information. It has indexing and abstracts to more than 1,000 business and management periodicals including over 350 international English language titles all dating prior to 1986. ABI/Global in particular covers more than 1,300 sources with over 600 journals available in complete full-text format. To access ABI/Inform Global from IU Northwest campus computers ONLY, go to http://www.umi.com/pqdauto ( NOTE: Sometimes when connecting to ABI/Inform from on campus, the web site will ask for a user ID and password. Project Muse Brings Full-Text Online Access to Over 125 Arts and Humanities JournalsProject Muse was created in 1995 through a joint partnership of Johns Hopkins University Press and the Milton S. Eisenhower Library to offer full-text worldwide Internet access to scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences and mathematics. The IU Northwest Library recently started a subscription to Project Muse's Arts and Humanities Collection which consists of 126 full-text journals from 1993 to the present. Some titles in this collection include American Literature, Journal of Social History, Journal of Women's History, Victorian Studies, MLN (Modern Language Notes and Theatre Journal.
