IU Northwest Library Staff Professional AccomplishmentsBob Moran, Director of Library Services has been appointed associate editor of Library Administration and Management, a quarterly publication of the Library Administration and Management Division of the American Library Association. He will serve two years as associate editor and then will be the publication's editor for the following two years. Nicholas Rosselli, Systems Librarian/ Webmaster was a featured speaker at the panel presentation Creating an Electronic Reserves System at the Indiana Library Federation District 1 Conference held at the University of Notre Dame on October 3. The Best Free Web Sites 2000 compiled by the Machine-Assisted Reference Section (MARS) Best Web Sites Task Force Task Force was recently published in the Fall 2000 issue of Reference and User Services Quarterly ( vol. 40, no.1, p.32-40). Carol Rusinek, Reference Services Librarian is a member of this Reference and User Services Division Task Force of 13 librarians from various types of libraries throughout the United States who selected and critically evaluated the top 29 reference web sites for 2000. This annual list can also be found at the American Library Association's MARS web site at www.ala.org/rusa/mars/best2000.html Ellen Bosman, Head of Technical Services was an invited speaker at the Lutheran Church Library Association's Biannual Conference in Denver, Colorado. She presented a program focusing on creating a sign system for a church library which featured a PowerPoint presentation based on her signage web site. Lynn Scott, former Reference/Government Documents Assistant became the Technical Services Department's new Serials Unit Head in October. Audrea Davis, previous Reserves Department Unit Head was promoted to Head of the Circulation Department in October.
