IU Northwest professor develops parents’ guide to protect K-12 students from sexual predators
Resource developed by Charles Hobson, expert in management, human resources and workplace sexual harassment prevention
According to the U.S. Department of Education, more than 4.5 million students are subject to sexual misconduct by an employee of a school between kindergarten and 12th grade. To help protect the millions of students who may be at risk, Charles Hobson, Ph.D., Professor of Management at the Indiana University Northwest School of Business and Economics recently developed a resource for parents. The free resource is available now to help educate parents prior to the start of the school year: Hobson has significant expertise in the areas of organizational behavior; sexual harassment and health in the workplace; supervisory and human resources management; and team development and leadership. Hobson can be reached at chobson@iun.edu or (219) 980-6903.
