ABSO interacts with the local community and northwest Indiana businesses where students can apply what they've learned in the classroom to the real world.

The IU Northwest Accounting and Business Student Organization is sponsored by Professor Jim Thomas, CPA.

Our activities include sponsoring the Annual Campus BBQ, assisting with Money Smart Week, and participating in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
